Is it possible that they're made from Kangaroo leather? Cos some portions esp the tongue part, some parts smooth some parts rough... Smooth parts is where the Kangaroo sits i think?Originally posted by acwire_2125:Those supplied by the SAF Full Leather are made from real leather. You can smell the leather smell with a new boot. Those in the SPF depends. Some are PVC while some are Leather.
but then need shiny boots for parade mah....Originally posted by Ponders:The method i hear is that you pour alcohol in a half-full kiwi can, and light a flame till everything melts
you also use alcohol to wipe clean whatever kiwi that is on the boot, and to "open up" pores.
then pour the melting kiwi over the boots and and quickly buff it
never tried this method because i never bothered to make my boots kilat because MM Lee Kuan Yew ever asked during a camp tour, "why does a combat soldier need a can of kiwi when they don't need shiny boots in battle"
