My bro jus came back from field camp n smuggled a few new ration packs . I m suprised that what gourmet food they r having nw
. Example of 1 pack i saw was 1) black pepper pasta with chicken 2) claypot rice with chicken n dessert is a wonderful longan red bean 
.
What happen to the notorious pontay rice!!

i nv even touch those after my first day in out field...after that i jus eat the biskets

The Pongtay Rice wah jia lat leh the thing is so inedible still remember my BMT got the old field ration now new field ration got TUNA, Julie Biscuits, can milo can coffee etc nowadays rec good life liao lah.....

My friend who is in the army now, told me that they improved the combat rations so that it will boost the morale of the troops during camps or war.

enlisted 2005...ord lastfeb...
bmt was ok..never tasted combat rations b4...so it was sorta a new feeling..so i gez swallowable..
go sispec...still can take it...but fancy accesory pack more....
go medic skool...added my own canned desserts..
go unit....alice pack got small frying pan...burner...canned food like corned beef...canned sausage....even rice sometimes -
pontay rice is the ration tat contains rice n some medicine taste .. n hav some cubes of chicken if i nt wrong .. it is the most leftover pack during my bmt ..
