Hi,
I jus completed my small arms training at SAF OETI. Awaiting my unit attachment currently. I just want to know how we will be allocated to our camps ?Will each and everyone of us be posted to different units or some of us may be posted to e same unit or camp ? -

Some of you guys may end up in one of the AMBs, usually 6 AMB, since you chaps are "weapon dealers" .
Some may end up in RSAF or RSN, but I'm not sure about the numbers, they seem to be quite small.
And you may not get your 3SG anymore.

I wanted to go for the sergeant course. If i got attached out means no chance to become 3SG ? If i want to be 3SG what should i do ?

Definitely not Tonners/GP Cars. Those are for "B" Veh. -

If you work with parts, there's always the trolley or ceiling winches in the working area.
However, if you have concerns, talk to your Wing Sergeant Major and your Course PC.Sometimes OETI can do internal switching of courses, so get your medical records ready and go to the Medical Centre as early as you can, to get a diagnosis too. -
dono realli worry abt tt...C veh mech is not too bad sides..in workshops..real heavy loads we have cranes...as for u...juz enjoy ur time at OETI.. and try to do well. MSCC is realli fun so go for it if u can..

My time, we had no MSCC, just the GPS Navex. -

It's entirely possible to end up as an Auxillary Instructor at OETI as well.
Or like some lucky buggers, ended up in HQMES doing Contract Liasion work.
