how was your experience of the grenade throw during your bmt days?
haha my senior was talking to me about it and it sounded quite interesting

waited the whole day just to throw a stupid grenade.

damn shiok... i was the only one in the whole company tt take down 2 target board.. but it was damn "ty-ko".. grenade landed and roll n roll until in the middle of both target board and BOOM both target down.. the sgts was cursing n cursing cuz have to go down and plant them again..

throw real grenade is fun
but making dummy grenades sux! everytime got standby grenade

went for 16km route march after throwing grenade.. -
Fun especially when you throw very close to the target.... and see the targer fall.....

your sgts are very brave to go down there themselves to plant the targets, u never know if someone is holding on to a grenade. hehehe... -
My pc was telling my after i thre the grenade"If u go war,u confirm win.The enemies confirm die.You know why?They die of laughing."

Cos i was struggling and trying to twist and pull out the pin but it was just so hard.
So when it finally came off,i was so relieved.
Holding the grenade in my hand,i turned and gave my pc this look.
Then i just "anyhow" throw.
It was no where near the target.Rather,it was nearer to us. -

I remember my PC telling me," Hey, try to throw over the wall (concrete barricade wall)...I don't want to die with you."
I just gave him the blur look and threw, guess I was too enthu to see where it land... he had to pull me down to the squat position. -

Ok lar, recuit time, that is the biggest boom but my real kick was after BMT, where I have a chance to set off more powerful devices. The booms can make whole hill shake man...shiok ah. Still grenade have to be treated with respect. Enough to kill people liao.

hah i remember being very nervous, my hand shaking when holding nade, the pc see also worried haha. i forgot most of the drill, i put out the grenade and say"grenade out" then i forgot what to say next, i stand there with the grenade out and then look at the pc and ask "ar sir what now ar". he tell me just screw it and just pull the pin out.
he tap my shoulder , so i just agar aim and throw and hurry up duck, the pc quite happy cos he say i seem like never aim and manage to get one target.
ya and its true that the pcs will be extra nice to you on gren throw day -

i joined Bronco for the throw. The Inchek there dam good sia keep talking cock de. Actually its not a big deal. the punishment that u get for throwing wrongly is a big deal. Dam it was hoping for a blind but did't get one. One of my friends tio double blind. Grenade blind + C4 blind.
