Hi i will be enlisting into the commando camp at pasir ris this June.
I know the trainning will be xiong but can someone tell me how xiong is it,
anything to prepare or look out for? Will there be a hell week or something, if
there is, how isit like? Hope u guys can enlighten me thanks alot -

At least you get to play with SAR-21. My generation tested the predecessors but never got to touch the end product. You lucky bastards..... -

The 1 CDO Bn I know adopted the policy of getting all information, good or bad, and dealing with it head on. When did that change, or did you spend so much time attached out as to miss that one important aspect of the unit's philosophy? -

My course mate CDO platoon mates... they were made to dig out facaces but stare at them while having lunch ..
Not given food and drink during feild training ... instructor throw their food to the dog and ask them to snatch back from them and drink from drain
Made to stand by bed at parade square after mid night
Their instructor a bit ...... -

He's not a cdo yet. So I guess such "information" can wait until he actually goes in and see it for himself. And yes I spent half my time attached out. That's alot of time. And I loved every minute of it. You should have tried it if you didn't. -

Have you actually read the kid's first post? He's asking about what he can expect when he arrives at Hendon, in particular anything to look out and prepare for. And yeah, I have attached out - personally I preferred doing real work and being a useful part of the unit.
