mindef pays u allowance thru interbank giro to ur bank account electronically.
u can go to www.ns.sg now, log in, then go to the 'e-self update' to key in ur bank account no.
else, no pay for u during ns. -

Two point of views.
One credit, and one debit. -
For layman, just use "give" and "take", "paid" and "earned", no need to sound professional with "credit" and "debit".
