What kinda camp is it? I just got posted to UAV or something.. And how do you go there?
Anyone with info on Murai Camp please share with me

you're in luck...I was from Murai Camp too and do miss those days sometimes..
basically, its now under UAV Command..being an RSAF camp, its definitely not as regimental as other army camps.
Most of the perm staff are regulars, but ya...when I was there, the food at the cook house sux one big time...as for the ulu-ness, it suits me fine as I live nearby, so not that bad for me.
As for stay-in/stay-out, I think if you go there as a trainee is stay-in...thereafter, if I'm not wrong, can stayout...do enjoy yourself there...all the best to your new posting

Murai open patch is home to the fiercest mosquitoes known to man. Everytime I dismount there at night, I pray for my safety and general well being.

Passed by the camp on my way for a shoot. The smell is legendary.
