  lets say if u sign on. can u choose the vocation where u wanna be,like in logistics squadron n not active fighter squadron?

  nope, u r be rotating around appointments around units every now and then.

  nope... yr vocation depends on yr trade...
  But however, once u r posted to tat unit, u most likely will stay at tat unit till the end of yr contact. Unless, special reasons...
  If u sign up army, u do not have the right to choose what u want... So be prepare to work irregular hrs, tio shhity job and blah blah...

  No you cannot choose. All you can do is perform and you will be posted accordingly.

  uhm all i know is tat if u're posted in ALS,
  they will sometimes ask u which flight do u wana go..

  if u r posted in ALS, it is logistic liao... then watever flight u go, it is not as bad as 1st line...

  i hv a dip in electronic n telecomm. so issit possible to get into ALS n not active fighter squadron? will i be working at a workshop?

  no matter what dip u have, there is a chance u will go sqn or als. go which flight is depend on ur dip

  depending on your qualification, you'll be posted to the related flights within ALS or 1st Line.
  
  if you're holding electronics / electrical / mechatronics, you'll probably be sent to CNEF / EIF

  CNEF does Radar & Communications
  
  EiF does Electrical & Instrumentation
  
  1st line consists of DCC (Dedicated Crew Chief) who work in a squadron
  
  There are squadrons for different aircrafts - f-16, f-5, Chinook, Super Puma etc.

  do you even have any qualification that's mechanical related?
  
  if not, you won't be a DCC.
