Take back pink IC late

  Are there any cases of unit kok up than the NSF get back his pink IC late, perhaps many weeks or months after he ord than he get back his pink ic?

  never or so i never heard of it b4.... CPC will also handle the ord's personnel application..

  I got a friend ord in feb but only go back to take his ic in april.

  in the end till today did he get back his pink IC???...or he just dun care to be back to civilian?....might as well sign on....

  For those who got back pink ic late, I wonder how did they go to look for a job without a pink ic..

  Theres more then 1 identifcation in singapore wat... got passport, drivers licence, birth cert... etc etc...
  
  Anyway its ok to collect you;re IC late, or even early.... got a fren, he clearing leave b4 ord, when for long holiday, only collect his ic a mth later. no problem one lah. its not like you no IC means u not a singaporean right?
  
  IC is a small matter. with IC or no IC, u still NSmen, can be called me at any moment. its juz a symbol of you're ord.

  So when you go for job interview without pink ic, what proof do you have that you have already ord?
  
  Perhaps you will show them your passport, driver license and birth cert to show that you have already ord????
  
  You are perhaps the only 1 in the entire singapore to do that

  sometimes some employers accept COS since u must be a SC/PR to have served NS, but of course when it comes to proper jobs, they need a photocopied of front and back of ur IC for HR.

  If you haven't get back your pink ic, than I don't think you will have goton your COS too..
  
  I don't think any units will prepare your COS 1st and than give your pink ic late..

  pink ic can take back late but cannot give out late
