It's difficult to maintain a relationship while the guy is in NS. You only have the weekend for her depending on your vocation. Don't even try AWOL.

1) from seeing the way thru my 2 year, 2 in 10 will last thru.
2) 99.9% (u not there, weekends burn/serving extras, mi think anyhow, school/workplace got another guy showing care and more concern...etc)
3) really u must listen to bing bian by kang kang as advise by others.
4) yes, but half hearted/still go but damn tired want to sleep attitude. temper flare when ur gf do little/some silly things, as ur mood is not gd due to army trainings.)
5) u say leh... army is army leh... not ncc anymore.
6) go DB squat. ord date extended. blacklisted in csm/rsm book. got record. life will never be easy as u kena marked liao. -

Hard... you got to trust your gf alot, and she must trust you, BMT is not the killer, overseas traning is. but its not impossible to maintain the relationship.

Call offen, invest in a higher mobilephone plan, get calling cards when u go overseas. try to spend as much as time possible with her

For me and my ex gf, we together pretty long, so she juz comes over... and see me sleep! haha!

DREAM LONG LONG! unless you really emotional unstable (read todays news paper, got case of NSF, too much stress, ex gf with this kid, owe money etc etc...)

Oh nothing much, juz get charge by military court, thrown into BD, and next time you can't find a job. ie. not worth it. -

Erm.....well i'm a regular...on good days i work office hours...so no problem with my girlfriend. But sometimes when on standby, and i don't book out for two weeks...all the problems starting coming in liao. Almost everyday quarrel on the phone at night. Got once...when she had a big problem and i was stuck in camp, she took pills, want to commit suicide. Imagine how i felt lah, being stuck in camp? Haha,this type of question is very hard to answer,it really depends on each and everyone,but one important thing is that don't do anything silly just because of a girl,it not worth it,you are still young,if the girl really love you,she should understand,if not then serve finish your NS first and wait for a better girl.Whether your instructors allow you to be excused or not depend on their own judgement,if you wish to use this reason to be excused,haha maybe you can try the MO and say you are depress but this will only result on you kena aim by your bunksmate LOL,so my advice just serve and fxx off,don't think of other things.

I can only say that it is very hard, but possible to maintain a B/G relationship in NS and there is a saying that if a relationship can pass through the NS period then it will be very stable after ORD......
