Hi all, i just went for my cmpb check up and was asked to go for another checkup at the cardiologist, I think i should be fine. my myopia is ard 450-500 and i guess i did my computer test rather alright. I wonder what's my chances of getting a shot at cdo? Also, when would i receive the VA letter if i am selected, im from the jc batch( j2 this yr). Thanks for ur answers in advance.

By and large, the reality is that no medical officer is going to risk having to answer for an NS man dropping dead, so if there's any doubt, I'd bet on the MO recommending against your getting in to CDO.

Not many people get selected into the "commando selection" in the first place. If one know the people inside the circle, he can get him to write a recommendation letter to introduce another to the unit. Of course, that person must meet the minimum requirement. My networking with Mindef, and other units is not bad, hence I dont see this much of a issue.
My friend have been reposted to NDU, because his father has called up the NDU unit. And his original posting is Tekong on paper. So it can be done.
It is not right for you accuse another for lying without sufficient evidences, moreover, you claimed to a registered professional previously. Better reflect your action.

My brother has a "hole" in his heart and it can be heard on a stethoscope. But my brother claim that he has no problem doing exercise hence he is given Pes B. But if he has any faint spell or chest pain, he will given Pes C, E or F depending on the degree. As no one run a marathon everyday, so nobody know how the heart function under stress. And most humans are not prefect.
He has myopia, it does not implied that he cannot do lasik. There used to be a free lasik program going in SAF for regulars. But I am not sure if it is still around NOW.
Have you not experienced do a referral for some1 or being a referee before? What strange words/languages are you talking about?
