Kena interview/selection means sure tio?

If during BMT, one is called up for selection or interview for certain vocations/units does it mean he almost certainly will kena that particular vocation/unit regardless of how much he expresses interest?

if you're the kind fail IPPT or just pass... then somehow kenna SAR, SIR, Guards kind of 'interview'... that means the unit is in need of men to join their ranks and you might kenna.
If however, it's those Intel Officer, WSO from Airforce, Naval Officer that one is subjected to good interview performance and OCS calibre. -
I got Silver for IPPT and tio Guards Scouts.
But fail SOC...they did ask me which obstacles I failed...
I indicated the least interested option on the form and wrote down some medical problems like skin, fear of heights etc...
And I didn't do FFI...will this affect anything? -

In any case, like i've said... if they need men they will grab men... so once you're 'selected', there is quite a high chance of you entering the vocation
Just so I can better gauge, are u doing bmt? in tekong? or are you in sispec? -
An advise to you, dun be so paranoid, just wait for the outcome of the interview. Just in case you are selected, just take it as a men and do the GCC. It is not as bad as you may have imagined. Btw, if you are posted to GDS, you are there permanently, so even if you failed your course, you will still stay there. If they are short of manpower, most prob they will make you do it over and over again TILL YOU PASS.................

During the interview they gave us a form to fill up. There I expressed the least amt of interest ie. 1 on a scale of 1-5. On the form they asked for IPPT results, SOC result, eyesight, whether know how to ride bike, anything to declare etc. -
No thanks. Take it as a man...ya...do all the crap in the end really MAN ie. still CPL only. I have a skin condition that's probably downgradable if I'm lucky anyway. -
No lah usually interview they just ask whether you want or not,then there a medical check up,etc.
If you don't want,when the officer ask u whether u like about the unit,just say you don't like,etc,are you outgoing?NO hahaa,basically just perform badly can liao and durning medical check up,if you have some illness,just declare,they will then not accept you
Last time i kena NDU interview,that before enlistment,they ask me whether i like sports etc,i put no,they ask abt my character i say i am a quiet and shy boi LOL,and durning medical check up i say i got nose allegic,last time got asthma and OFF i am to TEKONG hahahaaaaa so don't worry lah and bear in mind i never downgrade leh still Pes B
