Whats a Sea Terminal Operator

  3rd TPT Bn is a very low profile reservist Bn. You have to train together with the reservist operators during their in-camps. Sea Terminal Operators are train to operate forklift, mobile crane, chain saws, and methods of lashing up cargoes on ships.
  The Bn works very closely with the navy. As an operator, during exercises or crisis you need to follow the navy landing ship out to sea to perform loading and unloading of cargoes.
  
  No training, no reservists, no guard duties, very switch off > 8 to 5.

  woah.. haha are u a sea terminal operator too? none of my friends seem to know what that is sia. does it then mean that i will be attached to this camp until my ord as a private?

  Correction: No chain saws training liao. There is training. Yesh there is reservists. And yesh there is guard duty to perform until you ORD. SWITCH OFF? Nah... not even 8 to 5. STAY IN. So remember to bring your things to camp on Monday. But soon u guys will go for Class 3/4 Driving course for 6weeks then come back again. You will know more on Monday. See you!!!
