Questions about the IPT scheme~

I have heard about the IPT scheme and how it can be a substitute for RT and have a few questions about the scheme.
Firstly, I will be having reservice in 2 weeks time and taking IPPT is compulsary during reservice. (I will fail the test because my sbj cannot make it). Should I book for IPT before or after reservice?
And what is the training schedule and programme for IPT like? -
I believe the in-camp IPPT takes precedence over the other tests. If you fail that one, your passing a previous IPPT (eg. non-in camp, or in IPT) within the same workyear will, as my Encik used to mock, "DON'T COUNT." You must also attend RT as a result; it's not substitutable with IPT.
How do you plan to fit in a 5-week IPT anyway, when you'll be attending reservist training sometime during the same period?

do note the u will not be paid for IPT.

I'm confused here.
So if I go for the reservice IPPT and fail it, can I book IPT? Or is it straight away RT?
If it is straight away RT, then when should I book for IPT ?

I can't tell the difference between the 2, except that IPT is done before your IPPT, and RT is done after.
I think both durations adn training are the same. And after IPT, if you fail you IPPT, its considered as done RT, so no more RT. -

Since you'll going back for reservist, I think it's best to ask your unit directly. So ignore my last post. According to those feedback, koolkool would be right: finish the IPT, & it's considered "done RT" (whether you pass or fail the IPT IPPT). If I hear it differently from a first-hand source, I'll post accordingly.

I suppose you can try your luck & book now. The sessions are voluntary anyway. -

but there's no camp in the west conducting IPT. only bedok and khatib FCC, Maju FCC don't have.

I can be exempted from RT as long as IPT is booked before the ICT IPPT right?
(I am planning to book for IPT tomorrow and my ICT is in 2 weeks time. So I will have to take IPPT during the period of IPT.) -
No. As long as you take your IPT before your window to take ur IPPT is closed, you will definitely not need 2 take RT. IPT is actually similar to RT, just that you are not paid to go for IPT, and the duration of IPT is shorter than RT.
