Singapore Armed Forces promotes 463 officers
SINGAPORE: Over 460 officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force have been promoted.
They received their certificates from Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean at the SAF Officers' Promotion Ceremony on Thursday.
Heading the list of promotions is Chief of Defence Force, Desmond Kuek.
He is promoted from Major-General to Lieutenant-General.
The Chief of Army, Neo Kian Hong, is now Major-General.
The Chief of Air Force, Ng Chee Khern, has also been promoted from Brigadier-General to Major-General.

i remember LG(RET) Ng Yat-chung waited a year after being appointed CDF to get his 3rd star.
