ORD: Call 1800-3676767 to Ask Post to Reservist NS Unit?

Hi people, I've ORD for sometime le, but still haven't receive any news about my reservist unit. Any idea where to find out? Or should I adopt a they don't say, I don't ask attitude?

But the thing is, they never told me my reservist unit. I mean, aren't we suppose to get some unit code even if we are never going to be called up?Originally posted by blitzonic:Too little details. Also -- not sure if the SAF still uses this system -- your reservist unit could be an IHL unit, meaning it comprises troops who're still studying in the local universities & your CO must plan an ICT around their term breaks. (The window used to be March to July in the late-'80s, I recall.)
A newly-ORDed unit will likely do their 1st in-camp within a year, but keep in mind also we're talking SAF workyear (April to April), something which shall apply throughout your cycle. In other words, you may someday do 2 ICTs in one calender year, cuz the workyears scheduled for them. -

Good news: I understand that those on PES C9 are only a 5-year standby/reserve cycle. -

LEGALLY, you are supposed to tell SAF that you have not received a unit 6 months since ORD.
THen they will assign you a unit.
