  SAF's pioneer Infantry Battalion Turns 50. Ex-CDF LG(Ret) Winston Choo was at the parade yesterday at mandai hill camp for the parade.
  
  a time capsule is also sealed and will be opened on 1 SIR's 75th Anniversary in the year 2032.

  1SIR is also the place Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean undergo his BMT back in the 70s.

  I've always associated 1 SIR with Guillemard Camp. When did they shift to Mandai Hill?
