My advise : Now , yes from now on , if you got no target no aim , dunno what to do after NS , start thinking now , and plan and consider all the way till you ORD , as long as you know where you are going , you wont be standing around looking for roadsign -

the true measure of who you are is when you can survive on your own, earn your own money by starting a business and earning your way up..there is no job security as there is not guaranteed salary to start with. You are your own boss and you need to find the means and business to earn your own money. Only this way can you learn the hard knocks of life. You are not even gauranteed money coming in even if you work hard..gotta work smart
Life as an employee is better as you are gauranteed a salary provided you work hard. The scope is typically well defined and at the end of the day, if teh company you work for folds, you can always hop to another company...
These sign ons should be given a taste of the hard life....then again...I seriously think majority of them will drown in the cut throat business world outside...only a few will make it...let them drown -
