  ok, just to put it short.... i have to attend this dinner which host by Mindef, and the dress code they stated was NO 5(J) DRESS or FORMAL (COAT AND TIE)
  
  wah lao, where to find number 5!!! and i dont have coat also lah!!!1 just wonder, anyone attended this event before? and isit.... ALL OF THEM REALLY WEAR COAT? can i have long sleeve with tie ?
  
  dont know what to do ler.... any guy attend before? can share ur experience with me?

  if u are in the navy,go t/loan at tuas... They will be able to help u out.. If find it leceh,plz go to the wedding shops when u can t/loan for it !!!

  Talk to your QM. Your RQ won't be of much help if your unit doesn't have the uniforms in store. An officer's signature is usually needed to T/loan stuff from elsewhere.
  
  Remember to ask for the appriopriate rank insignias, service ribbons & badges as well. Check for missing buttons too; I remember needing to switch them & the other decorations myself when I drew out a No.1 uniform.

  u think its GOOD to have such dinner?
  btw, if u notice, they only recognise OFFICER!
  which i think.... its very sad thing for other rank! on top of this,
  i think they should have the BEST NS-MAN award being award on that day as well.

  No.5 for regulars, Coat for NSmen. You mean NSmen can go to Tuas and T-loan civilian coats ?
