They go to camp very happily everyday, got no complains, love their job very much, hope that they can work in the army forever..?
Can't u see is becos of the money? Plus ,they find themselves in advantage with a lof of chee hong kia in SAF and decide to continue to live on on others...Originally posted by constancebay:How about the female regulars?
If they don't love the army why did they even sign on.
i had female bosses in the SAF.. and from what i gather, they are ok with the job, most are in it for the money and nope, i've not heard one that goes on w/o complaints. The females take it in their stride, after all it's never easy to compete in a male dominated environment.Originally posted by constancebay:Have you all encountered Regulars who love the army very much?

I personally find more cons than pros for a female to remain in the army, esp after marriage and family.
i had more interactions with Reg females, although i know of many female DXO ( then again, majority of all DXOs are female)Originally posted by constancebay:You talking about Regulars or DXO?

From what I know, many of the RSM also hate army and is waiting to ROD. I talked to a few RSM before and that is what they told me.Originally posted by blitzonic:Every unit has one, & he's called the RSM ~lol~

With RSMs, we're talking about WOs who've been in the service for already 9 years or so, making about $3k to $5.5k (according to MINDEF website). At that stage, they're very much "lifers", to borrow a more-accurate American reference.
Yes... last time my unit got 1 platoon sergeant posted over to be prepared for the next batch (we were going to ORD). He's super happy and on about army. Got once he even wear long 4, gloves, boots, draw one gun, wear camo net over face, wear jungle hat, then hide behind a small tree wait opposite our bunk area. Then when got people come out, he shout "HALT"Originally posted by constancebay:Have you all encountered Regulars who love the army very much?
