ATEC for NS Unit Reservist In-Camp Training = ORNS NSTS?

hi all i'm a armour engineer spec in 41 SAR currently, i will miss my battalion's ATEC which is somewhere on july 08, because i ORD on may 08. Wanna find out will i have to fight ATEC during my reservist? thanks a lot!

I fought atec few years back that turned my unit operational, and I know I have to fight them again during reservist god knows when. I was also from an sar unit.

u 1st yr atec sure alot of "benefits" one leh -
ATEC 1 pui chao nua.. alot of lessons and refreshments cos many small weapons skill/TSRs etc thrown back to army.
Everyone will be briefed what they will be taught but oni a few will be hand-picked for the relevant tests and weapon handlings. -

The TSRs alone can lau bak sai heaps man.
We were briefed abt the impending test back then and followed by some clips a few batches did. At first, the record timings of some of the weapon handlings seems near impossible to break but with much practice, it's do-able.
Of cos, must pre-select those arms which can be easily disassemble and reassemble before the date of submission for inspection and then for the tests thereafter.
The tankee guys really pei fu them.. must break tracks and assemble them back in given time. the 40/50 oso no joke. If u are not careful, there goes ur fingers. -
LRI after ATEC is the worst.
Esp for tech depot side.. -

The one I mentioned is ATEC 1. ATEC 2 will be the showtime. -

Got a question. Does the ATEC OPFOR COY have their own reservist unit? If not, where does their ex-NSFs end up?
