How Many Of U Cant Be Bothered To Ace IPPT n Go RT

i seen alot of guys doing RT which in other words fail ippt..
i m asking if how many here even bother to train n at least pass IPPT, to escape RT n most importantly get the money?
Or most here just cant be bothered about ippt, n lan lan do rt? -
nah i will try to get gold if i can..

Training also helps you keep fit and trim mah. Can't be solely attributed to IPPT. Even if no IPPT I will still go for runs and gym. i think not having to go back during weekends is already a incentive... imagine having to go back to camp on sat afternoons to do RT?

How about starting work at 10am and knocking off at 12midnight-1am. Give or take an hour or so.
How about, after RT straight away go back to office to finish up work.
Where got time to train. The SAF think we all working cushy 9-5 government job isit. After work still so free go do training. -
When auditors come even worst,everyday OT until 12,yeah i love to go to gym and love to jog but as a form of leisure,it silly to go back to the camp,book in and train when there a gym nearby my house.

IMO ippt is a waste of time sia.. In time of war no matter u got gold/silver/bronze or fail government throw u the rifle u LL still have to fight. NOT as if they will say u got gold in ippt u fight front line, u fail u no need fight. LL sux thumb still have to chiong. I dont see the point of having IPPT..

as a NSman, i find that even if u fail IPPT and have to got for RT. if u put in effort, u can pass at the end of the 2 month training. i'm living proof of it.
i'm aiming for silver next year. i want that badge.

That's why I have never gone for RT...its a waste of time...and frankly I don't care about all this total defence thingy.....To make a clean break...I've switched flags and called another place home.....

The mind is willing but the flesh is weak. I am due for my RT soon hopefully in september. Its damn hard to get the saturday slot. -
for those who die die cannot pass IPPT, i suggest u go for IPT before your window closes.. it's a 1 month program, at the end of it even if u fail, u no need to take IPPT for that window. so u only need to take IPT again 1 year later.
definitely a better option as compared to 2 months RT, since if u fail RT u still must take IPPT for that window. -

If you had done a "clean break" as you've claimed, you would've stopped caring for whatever happens in the SAF and to see that you even bother to come in here to "offer you opinion" on the issues related to it shows a clear contridiction.
