Strange Enlistment Notice

My friend came to me with his SAF enlistment notice, I find it rather strange.
"After enlistment procedures at CMPB, you will be posted to HQ RSAF"-How come he is posted directly to unit? I have never heard of RSAF mono-intake
"As you will not be staying in on the first day, you will not be required to bring your belongings" (?!) -

Clerk? I don't think he's PES E. I think PES C.
But even within PES E, I thought they serve as storemen, not all clerks? Btw, HQ RSAF no lodging so book out everyday? I really pity him.. He lives in the east. Wonder if he can do anything about that. -

From what I know clerk is thrown there for 1 day, shown basic procedures and then he is on his own. -

it is not strange, when i am enlisted, i am also like that
i enlisted, no uniform at all, then eat sleep, slack and smoke
then 1 month later, then i have uniform, most probably, he will be in any one of the RSAF unit -
The guy is PES E. AMD people will come down to CMPB to do the posting out. He may/may not be going to Gombak. Can be other Air Force units also.

I wonder if clerk is fun life.... I see them relaxing, but one friend of mine who was also a clerk did mention that there was alot of paperwork and he had to stick in office till 9pm plus just to clear them (He was CMPB clerk).
Enlistment notice says register at CMPB, then posted out to HQ RSAF.
From what you all say it will be CMPB>>HQ RSAF>>other units, meaning his "BMT" is at HQ RSAF? (I've no idea how they do it). -

CMPB straight to unit. AMD personnel will come down to CMPB itself.
