Go Db for losing guns

  Any such stories about people like armskote spec etc that lost a gun and go DB?

  7 years is nothing compared to a terrorist getting hold of your gun in the black market and killing hundreds of people with it

  usually singapore laws are in good numbers... like..
  
  1 year, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 etc
  
  never hear 7.
  
  i think it's some real case.. where some one supposed to get 10 years but mitigate till 7.
  
  then become a big folklore in SAF.

  Sorry, whenever a soldier says "gun", I immediately think of 155mm howitzer ~lol~ They never make you chant "This is my rifle / This is my gun / This is for shooting / This is for fun" for naming the wrong weapon in BMT, meh?
  
  Very difficult to lose a rifle inside armskote, with the multiple checks & security access in place. Even the blank attachments & case deflecters are accounted for daily. Now, losing them out in the field is another thing.

  DB = Detention barracks. Very regimentated, except for perhaps the jailed Jehovah Witnesses. Life for the others is like regular prison plus BMT plus old-school RT plus NPCC-style foot drills. I think the Straits Times did a photo essay a few years ago; it was hosted online somewhere but cannot find anymore.

  Must be the Enciks ~lol~ You know, lah, the end of every range shooting where you swear not to have any round or firing pin in your possession, then forewarned about DB before kena *ahem* groped.

  mmhhzzz..then is there any thread that we can see stating all this laws n regulation about DB? like what kinda general punishments are given to the common type of offenses soldiers make...like awol, losing gun or defying general orders etc etc..
  
  think will be a great help to all future enlistees, NSFs, regulars and even reservistsif such information is shown.
