She told her parents first. She went down with her parents to complain to the police. She felt bad for doing it cuz she didn't want to ruin the life of his parents and grandparents. But I guess they were forced to act. Come on la. The kids these days use the word like nothing. I was teaching in a sec school before. And every kid proclaims it from the rooftops, in their friendster, on their msn, in their blogs about how much they love the guy. And the next thing you know, they've changed bfs. It's the culture nowadays.
I think she made it clear to him that they were no more. And she changed her blog because she wanted to get rid of all that "I love you" stuffs.
But she's got that much "I love you"s on her new blog for her newfound love. Heh :p -

But because of a gal??? To be blunt lah, there are lots of ways to get back at her but taking your SAR21 + ammo out of camp is really stupid.

will he get the standard 7 years involving firearms ... or will they declare him kuku and send him for counseling ? ... -
If he had threatened her as far back as in June, it probably is pre-meditated. I'm lazy to check up the statutes, but I think there's a different sentence for possession of firearms and possession with intent to use it and yet again, to use it in public place. :pOriginally posted by Fatum:let's play "guess the sentence" ....

A 20-HOUR manhunt for a full-time National Serviceman, who went missing on Sunday night with his rifle and several rounds of live ammunition, ended in the heart of Orchard Road last night.
The 20-year-old NSF, Corporal Dave Teo Ming, had the weapon - believed to be an SAR-21 assault rifle - and the bullets on him when he was nabbed on the third floor of Orchard Cineleisure mall.
He was discovered missing from the Mandai Hill Camp at 11.59pm on Sunday night, sparking off an islandwide manhunt that involved more than 200 police officers.
Last night, witnesses to Cpl Teo's arrest at the mall, which is popular among the young for its mix of fast food, fashion, music and sports shops, said everything happened quickly and without fuss - so much so that even the security guards there were unaware of the drama that unfolded.
Ms Aisah Abdullah, a 46-year-old cashier at World of Sports on the mall's second floor said: 'At about 8pm, I saw men running up the escalator to the third floor. Soon, more police arrived and they cordoned off the whole floor for about an hour.'
Other witnesses said they saw a brief stir.
Police did not say how Cpl Teo managed to conceal the weapon, which is about 80 cm long, slightly shorter than an umbrella.
The Ministry of Defence and police said Cpl Teo was trained as an infantryman wth the 1st Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment.
His full-time NS stint was to have ended next month.
Cpl Teo had been assigned the rifle and ammunition for guard duty at the camp.
The Singapore Armed Forces, strict about accounting for all firearms and ammunition, requires soldiers to sign for weapons and to count every bullet that is issued.
Even empty bullet casings are recovered from the rifle range after practice firings.
In a similar case in 1986, a soldier who stole an American-made AR-15 rifle and 30 bullets two years earlier was charged in the High Court and given five years in jail and 12 strokes of the cane.
Cpl Teo will be investigated under the Arms Offences Act, which carries a jail penalty of between five and 10 years, and caning for unlawful possession of arms or ammunition.

The human mind is too complicating.I think we all have thought of bizarre ideas to attract attention and create disturbance before but for goodness sake we stopped short of acting it out.This is one real sad incident for a young person to have to serve time for nothing.In some countries he would be dishonorably discharged from the military,get a suspended sentence and be ordered to seek therapy but in Singapore not only his backside be torn wide apart but also those on duty on that unfortunate day.

NSF arrested for leaving camp with rifle, bullets
A 20-YEAR-OLD full-time National Serviceman left his camp on Sunday night with his assault rifle and several rounds of live ammunition, and sparked off a 20-hour manhunt.
Over 200 police officers combed the island before the drama finally ended in the heart of Orchard Road.
Corporal Dave Teo Ming was arrested after policemen tracked him down to the third floor of Orchard Cineleisure.
Ms Aisah Abdullah, a 46-year-old cashier at World of Sports on the second floor of Cineleisure said: 'At about 8pm, I saw men running up the escalator to the third floor. Soon more police arrived and they cordoned the whole floor for about an hour.'
Other witnesses said they saw a brief struggle outside the Nike Store. Police officers kept the commotion to minimum - even security guards at the shopping complex were kept unaware of the situation.
Corporal Teo still had the rifle on him when the police arrested him. It is believed to be a Singapore-made SAR-21 rifle, which is about 80cm long - or about the length of an umbrella.
Police would not say how he managed to conceal the weapon, but no gun shots were heard, said shoppers at Cineleisure.
According to Ministry of Defence and Police, the NSF trained as infantry man wth 1st Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment.
The first sign of trouble was when he discovered missing from the Mandai Hills Camp at 11.59pm on Sunday.
Ironically, his tour of duty was almost over. CPL Teo was due to complete his full-time NS stint next month.
