Religious Leaders in SAF

SAF believes in using religions to bless our troops and Colours.
Religious leaders are called in to bless during events such as OCS Commisioning Parades and SAF Day.
The Colours in SAF were also blessed by the various religious leaders which is then handed over to the President and trooped.
The consecration ceremony is carried out by the recognised religions in Singapore and they are as follows, in order of precedence:
1. Hinduism
2. Judaism
3. Zorastrianism
4. Buddhism
5. Taoism
6. Christianity
7. Islam
8. Sikhism
9. BahaÂ’i Faith
10. Jainism
Similarly in OCS Commisioning Parades, these leaders are asked to bless the newly graduands. But i believe tt there're only 9 leaders.

The order of precedence of the religions is based on their founding dates, ie, the one founded earlier comes earlier. -

Protestants won't send any clergy down. They always shun inter-faith events. -

the 3 different OCS commissioning parades i go, the religious leaders are never standardised.
There was once i went there is only 6 leaders.
And the one representing christianity is just a man in a suit. nothing religious. -

isn't weird that some religion of peace are blessing the very people who are involved in war? -
