Urgent Help needed - Consumption of alcoholic beverages

  Hi anybody know or can confirm whether consumption of alcoholic beverages like beer in uniform in publc area or while on duty is an offence/misconduct? I tried very hard to look for its directive nut to no avail. Personally I feel that drinking is okay what so long as u know ur limit. Anybody know where can find directives stating that it is not allow. Pls help/advise.

  itz like unwritten rule, like smoking in public places. dun think got written one.
  Only heard this in BMT. (abt the smoking one)

  when i stayed at amk, i always saw this MSG in overalls drinking with his civvy buddies at the kopitiam. But didn't see him smoke. I think should be no problem la. But just don't get drunk in uniform!

  In many coffee shops around any army camp, u can find army regulars drinking beer rite after their office hours. Look out for certain race. Very obvious one. Potong Pasir coffeeshop just opposit the temple have liao. But lucky they in civi But they r saf regulars. I even know their rank well coz each morning I can see some of them taking mrt or bus.
