Did you manage to sleep well on your first night of NS?

I think most people can't sleep on first night lah. My whole section of 11 people can't sleep as well so we ended up chatting on our beds lor. Until our platoon sergeant came in and scolded us.
Most of the time, some people can't sleep on the second night as well. During those admin lectures on the first few days, you can see people dozing off.
But by third night sure can sleep liao cos toooo tired. -
1st and 2nd night hard to sleep, keep waking up....

yea first night hard to slp sia...i felt so lost i almost shed a tear but later i pull myself together and battle the next day.
2nd night was better coz i was shag haha...then i got more and more used the bed. its quite comfy actually haha!

First night i sleep very soundly leh,because the previous night i did not sleep went to clarke quay chiong whole night with my friends lol

1st night sleep late the bunk was noisy. Party bunk

Mine was a pretty "intense" sleep, once the initial fidgeting passed. Seemingly short too, cuz my DI woke us up Hollywood-style, flicking on all the lights & shouting while banging away on a dustbin cover.
The next BEFORE enlistment was the sleepless one! ~lol~ -
totally cannot sleep..
waken by the roar of passenger jet every few min.. -
Did anyone reminisce about the good times spent as a civilian on the first night?

I couldn't sleep. Felt like a hostage, and I forced myself not to call my girl then, else I might have just yakked through the night.
Some of us started to chat in the dark, talking about what we did the night before and generally speculating what would happen in the morning.
Somehow, Tekong makes you feel like you're a stranger to the place. -
yes. i had some difficulties sleeping as i can't sleep without a bolster.

Heee i slpt very soundly on my first night , but think i hear someone sobbing lar . i always very easy to slp type , actually the thing that i missed most is to see those ah ma , mother or even gf crying while their sons/bf go for their ns . Sadly now no more liao otherwise i would go hang ard there to see pple cry kekeke .

i think i just tried to sleep. i was semi conscious the whole night. resting la, but not deep sleep.. so i could wake up at like 5am in the morning? ugh

Slept soundly immediately when lights out In fact, it went on for the first 3 days and i still didnt noe my bunkmates' names

Lights off is at 2230hrs and I slept at 2300hrs..

i just dun understand these people.....one thread about visiting camp after ord and now this....NS is a curse and bane for us but i still see some people trying to look back....they should move on with their life...and spent time again in camp again for reservist for two weeks or so the move on....
