do u guys find it hard to up tonner?

  i always have to struggle to climb up a 3 or 5 tonner.
  
  i think SAF should provide a step ladder for guys to climb up the tonner. more convenient n safer.
  
  
  
  anyway when climbing up a tonner, is it cannot hold on to the strap? i once did that n i kenna scolded by commander coz he said the strap might snap n i might fall to the ground.
  
  and have u seen any friends who try to act hero n jump off the tonner, instead of climbing down?

  The tonner rear door has built in steps for you to climb up on. No one is asking you to rush up the tonner.

  I've seen worse. One chap suggested that we actually do fire-movement down Orchard Road in the name of realistic urban warfare.

  During my time, we had to do movement to contact in a 3 tonner. Once contacted, it was literally jumping off the 3 tonner with weapons and dummy ammo and diving or leaopard crawl to the nearest cover. I think we had 10 seconds to dismount a section of 9 men once contacted

  Follow this suggestion and our soldiers will end up only able to get on and off tonners in side camps. Out in the field, all will be stuck inside the tonner as they are too scare to jump off one. Next thing you know we will have air conditioned areo bridges inside camps like those in airports for boarding of tonners without having to be exposed to the weather and the hot sun.

  Nonsense! Any idiot can be uncomfortable. A special-needs sparrow with brain-damage can be uncomfortable. Not a special skill at all.
