  if u go into army and you can choose your vocation , would u rather be a non combatant eg. a clerk or would u rather be a combatant? eg.infantry all that.

  Definitely combat side; life is more meaningful there. *shrug* Might as well do something more tangible when in NS.
  
  If cannot tahan the sweating part with the combat arms units, then can always aim for combat support (medic, comms, provost, etc.) or combat service support (supply, maintenance, transport, etc.).
  
  Admin life deals too much with paperwork, office politics & the military bureaucracy IMO.
