Depends on how you look at things,currently i am a nsf Rp dog handler.
Obviously the dogs welfare is more important than mine. sadly.
things like grooming of dogs, washing their kennel, feeding them and lastly scooping up their excrement is part of the daily routine lor.
If u dont mind doing on avg 10 duties a month staying awake and prowling whole bloody night, rp dog handler is not bad. it isnt as bad as infantry man but most dog units do stay in....

i was an mp last time licenced to patrol with guard dogs. The course is just 2 weeks only. I am only trained to work with a dog and not a dog trainer.
After my course, i still have to work with dogs many times a week.
Every morning and evening, a driver will accompany 1or2 mp to collect or return dogs to the dog unit. The dog will be sent to another camp during the night for night duty. Next morning, the dog will be sent back to his kennel at dog unit. The cycles repeat everyday even on sundays but we usually take different dogs each time.
Dogs are usually sent to highly sensitive areas like ammo dump or mindef.
