  sorry title should be - u or ur frens ever drove without military license
  
  eg. u were travelling in minibus or gp car on detail outside camp. then u ask the driver to let u test drive (u got civilian license but no military license), or the driver says he is tired n want to let u drive.
  
  so u ever did this or ur friends did this? ie. driving military vehicle without military license.

  confirm offence...can go DB one...come to think of it...I think I know one guy who went DB because of unauthorized driving.
  
  got...but not so brave to do it outside...shifted 7-tons for a short distance a few times...we need to wash the wheels but driver cannot be found...so we DIY.
  
  sat in 1 jeep...driver has no military license...go attend guard mounting at guard house and then back to company line...not very far...2km each way?
  
  standard lar...just dun get caught...and die die dun langar anyone...better to bang tree than to langar people.

  Inside camp, sure. But only with armoured vehicles like M113s in my experience. Most of the time, it's to park them outside of the garages but no drivers were around then. Sometimes, it's to drive to & from the washing bays.
  
  During my NS, some mortarman from another BTY caused an accident too, crashing a M113 into & totally destroying the garage cage (where all the tools & non-restricted ops equipment are stored). He was charged although, curiously, no order was subsequently passed down banning this practice.
