  The only place I see safety tonners instead of rovers, Officers and Specs falling out of route marches.

  I think it depends on how bad is your asthma, if frequent or recently still have attacks, you are unlikely to get in but if its childhood asthma and long time no attack liao you might still be able to enter. This is base on what is require for non combat engineers to enter smoke chamber so i think the standards should be around there if not more stringent.

  only june and january intake have a chance of entering 39 sce...
  
  for asthma....even though there are a few around but chances are really low
  
  mental endurance must be really good in the mask it is hard to keep your patience and sanity

  You do get a bonus for being in an 'active' unit. If i remember what my EOD friend said, its 400 for NSF and 200 for regulars or the other way round. Not very sure though. This is because 39 is more or less the most active in terms of real world ops in the whole army. For example during IMF, NDP or any other big event, they gotta help out. Work schedule will be correspondingly tough.
