Your mentality before and after enlistment

Well..Maybe I shall start a blog someday...my Pre-enlistment letter just came and I'm feeling rather garang. Super kan chiong to register and book medical. Even jio a few of my friends to book the same date and time for the medical. Hoping very much to get into command school and am actually going for workout after work at my attachment company. Hoping to buff up...haha. Siao on right?Well..hope that I can keep this positive attitude and mentality throughout bah.
actually to me, army's not a good time to buff up esp. if you are chiong sua combatant. always go outfield not condusive for building muscle. at my camp the buff ones are actually the storemen...haha. -

but my advice to u is, don't be too garang, generally most NSFs aren't that garang so try to blend in, BMT is a great time to make friends trust me. i believe many of the lao jiaos here agrees with me right?
just be yourself, do your part, do your best, help the others. don't wayang, don't sabo. enjoy your BMT, make it a good memory.

Amen. I fought it at the start, but after a while I figured that one way or another I was stuck there for two and a half years, so I may as well enjoy the ride and maybe learn a thing or two while I was at it. but after i got into my unit, i started to change. i learnt to view things from a different perspective. i came to see NS as aren't that bad, it's how one chooses to handle it.
looking back it certainly brings back wonderful memories. and believe me, after u ORD, whenever a group of guys gather together, surely they will about their NS days.

Lol, my best buddies were found in some place called SISPEC (BSLC), where everyone was rather committed and chipped in even though it sux big time. When I was in SAF I met and saw all kinds of people so I learned a lot about myself in the process.This was the best thing I got from the army.

combat soldiers are more bonded together. i clerk la, but i find that my office quite close. cuz we got 2 common enemies. lol. but rarely u see stay out clerks who will stay back on friday and work till 10+pm folding letters cuz of some dxos mistake. and the dxo force her 3 clerks to stay back and fold 3000+ letters. so we decided to help out.Originally posted by gd4u:Lol, my best buddies were found in some place called SISPEC (BSLC), where everyone was rather committed and chipped in even though it sux big time.
