Can officer overwrite MP decision

Just kindda curious to know..
If a MP(Military police) wants to charge you, can your officer like your CO etc overwrite the MP decision..
That means the MP want to charge you but your officer overwrite his decision and than you never get charged in the end.
Is that possible? -
Then can the MP officer override your officer decision?

imagine u kena charged by the police for drunk driving, can the MP for your GRC save your skin?
MP are there to enforce the rules, well also depends simi charges lor. -

MPs are there to enforce the laws. -
If want to charge, must go up to the subordinate military court (under Legal Services of MINDEF). With less serious offenses, a MP will mostly refer on to the unit disciplinary officer for punishment, lah.

MP does not charge people....
They will book you and submit your offence to your unit.. then your unit SDO or JDO will consider whether to charge you...
All charges can only be done by your own unit JDO/SDO/SC...
MP are law enforcers... U AWOL.. they come and get u and see what ur CO wanna do with you... -

On this point, if you AWOL for example, your JDO/SDO makes the decision on what punishment you will get, including the number of days of DB. The JDo or SDO will decide on the punishment... they have a set of guidelines to follow...
Whatever the charge is, it will closely monitored by Legal Services... -
