Expert Chao Keng

Who here during NS Chao Keng but still get work done?
As in, you still have some conscience left in you to do the job well, but at the same time you want to chao keng.
So in the end you get the job done but you did it the smart way...
for me,
If i was Company Duty Spec the next day, I go brief all the CQ, and platoon specs, the night before about the stores they should prepare the men they should use and the time it should be done.
The next day, i just check if they did what i told them to do. So i actually was quite relaxed.
other thing is i go program the company computer Excel to do automatic parade state, Range Scores, IPPT results, random NRIC generator,
SO many of the platoon/company admin is done in a very short time.. -

i chao keng by doing my work slower n slacking while doing work... coz if i finish my work quickly my superior will give me more work or find some work for me to do.

anyway in all singapore army camp chao keng is a culture lah but is onli who is more "kengable" then the others some is noob when come to keng some is expert kengster.stupid people dun keng cos they kia see scare sgt later ask u sign extra,daring kengster always use the arrow like nobody buiness just shoot sure got people tio arrow
i also agree sometimes when u do job fast the next thing is u got more job..
so do it smart

chao keng is when you try to siam the things you should be doing ....

I keng pes status...but when i became clerk i was very on..got award somemore..but eventually after i ORD, i realised my knee really got problem
