Downgraded before upcoming ICT

I am in combat unit, just got downgraded and still have medical excuse for IPPT and ICT in few weeks time. So what happens now? any good chance of getting time off for urgent work matters?

Call up your unit to inform them of your new status, in case they don't receive the info in time from the proper channels. Then it's up to your CO on whether to call you back.
You're "excuse ICT"? First time I've heard of it. Getting time off during ICT is possible, depending on how good you can barter with your commander or the CO. -
ok i phrased that wrongly...didnt mean im excused ICT. just outfield and IPPT
I went for medical review on my own and MO give me status and now downgrade. Must i see my unit MO when i go for Ict? -
You can see him, just to confirm your new status. Sometimes the medical dockets don't return to the unit in time for the ICT; I know, cuz I've used this loophole to draw out my own medical limbo in my time ~lol~
The unit MO can write out a more-detailed excuse chit, if warranted. But the thing is, as I tried to say previously, once you report back you're usually obliged to follow the rest out to field training too. Dunno how the infantry side do it, but for combat support like Arty or SCE which are vehicle-based, you'll move out with the others & then it's up to your commanders & buddies on how best to utilize/accomodate you. (Many older reservists end up routinely doing this later on in their cycle, after obtaining downgrading but the unit still must operate at fullest strength possible, mah.) No more staying back in camp or following rations truck, like in active time.
If you want to siam all these, then it's best to ensure that your CO know you have a legitimate excuse &, hopefully, he won't call you back as a result. Better yet, post you out altogther to the holding list, so as to siam doing a makeup ICT with another unit in the same workyear too. -
Oh...forgot to add i am excused Outfield and status is C1L3.
