Hmm..okok..is quite a personal question actually..
Coz i am quite use to wear Trunks rather ten brief..So i am thinking tt, do i have to change my habit of wearing trunk when i enter the BMT at tekong??
Coz i know trunk will be too long for the PT kit?? The one which suppose to be wear during nite time?
Do anyone of u here wear Trunks to BMT de?? OR All standard Must wear brief?? Thx thx..

All must wear briefs. Its by law.
Kena caught wearing trunks, will give you warning....if you keep repeating, they can charge you for disobeying orders.
Cause for hygeine and your own good....Trunks you'll get abrasion, cause your banana will have too much room to move about...you'll get infection, abrasion, etc. and pain...
Try get used to the benefits of briefs...really for your own good. Army not saddist.

Was there any mention of boxers in the question?
Anyway not sure whether its really throughout all the coys but i know my coy in BMT did not allow boxers, trunks etc esp during PT. People who were caught were forced to changed so my advice is to just start getting use to wearing briefs. Once in unit, i guess few people care. At least in logistic, noone really cares what you wear inside or even if you wear anything or not :p

For Physical Training you'd better wear briefs!
you dont want your little things to fly about violently during jumping jacks
it's like a form of protection.

some of the guys during my BMT wore trunks only for route marches.

Does the SAF still issue underwear during enlistment? I was a boxer guy too, then must conform to "standardized" attire for BMT. Everyone was actually made to form up to change underwear inside-out during field-camp, & to strip down & pour talcrum powder into the groin area in unison during route marches too.
Things also turned out to be practical cuz a lot of us "graduated" to using those diaper-like paper underwear, out of convience, later on in unit life during those long outfield EXs. They don't wear really well, honestly, but if you buy the biggest size available they felt quite like boxers. The paper material doesn't cling, allowing your two boys to "breathe" down there.

depends on you... if you want your **** to show when you jumping, running, etc... you can carry on.... unless your coy got a sick practise of not allowing boxers...
specialOps
its not a sick practise not to allow boxers. It is really Not allowed.
Everything about you belongs to SAF, including ur dick...hahaa...they really passed rule that boxers will cause abrasion and possible injury, really banned.
To deliberately wear boxers is to disobey lawful order.
