SAF sending gifts to help post-war Iraq

  2 Land Rovers.
  10 sets of tentage.
  500 petrol cans.
  500 digging picks.
  700 hand shovels.

  Neh........ I guess those must be some old stores that are already condemnned thus they give it to them, in the name of charity.
  I wonder why SAF dun give them more practical stuffs. I mean showels and entrenching tools can be easily produced even in backyard iron mills, nothing really advanced.
  Maybe SAF can give them old M-16 or SAR-80 rifles, I think the new Iraqi force need those arms more to combat insurgents.

  the m16s are still useful frm their pov.

  i would think that medical equipment or medical supply for surgery would be very much appreciated. Equipment for field sanitation would come a long way.
  
  anyway i guess the initial list must be long as it escalate up the rank from the S4 to the BG, every officer simply did their job by striking 1 item off the list. And that list got shrank to just few items.
