Nowadays army more relax on spec liao....i think as long it's not too fanciful should be fine...but if you in chiong suah unit, surely you don't want break your armani etc spec right?Originally posted by strado:The optic shop uncle told me during bmt only black coloured specs are allowed, cos they dunwan everyone got diff colour like very fancy like that, later some pink, some white, some blue.
Cheap black ones are the best cos everyone will be wearing the same and u can blend in. If not you stand out, your commanders will recognise you "more". You can always change to whatever colours you want during weekends after you book out.
The optic shop uncle told me during bmt only black coloured specs are allowed, cos they dunwan everyone got diff colour like very fancy like that, later some pink, some white, some blue. The truth is that, in the past, the SAF provided needy recruits with grants to make prescription glasses, only for its enforcement to narrow down to plastic, black-rimmed functional frames. The regimentation loosened with better affluence &, I suppose, 99% of today's intake needing to wear them ~lol~
