Why No NS ICT Call-Up Since ORD Years Ago? Admin Lapse?

entirely depends on ur unit.....like mine its was ICT every year & was also the 1st to have the 10yr cycle thing

Speaking only for combat reservists, I know only the KAHs get promoted. Meaning, a lot of field commanders (LTAs & 3SGs) themselves are treated merely as part of the main body, let alone rank-&-filers like CPLs & below. Instead, it's the CSM-RSMs & CQ-RQs who get promoted -- often double-rise too by the end of the cycle -- tacitly as a recognition of their organizational efforts for every ICT. -
I have already written to NSAD asking them the reason why I got no posting to unit. They wrote in a reply that there is an excess of clerk in 2 PDF Comd.

i heard during early days of NS...some nsmen never kenna call up for reservist at all or kenna called up when they r in their mid 30s...
coz in the past is all paper work n handwritten records....no computer... so sometimes records gets misplaced or lost, esp. by the NSF clerks...then the lucky people no need reservists at all...

What "early days"? ~lol~ The 13-year cycle was introduced only in the early '80s, so it would've already been the first half of the '90s for those thirtysomething reservists to be called up. (The latter was the period when Intel released its Pentium microprocessor, as a breakthrough update of its "x86" line.)
