sometimes, its great having Comfort Delgro just a few metres away from your office... i jumped 7 clicks before..and lucky, the mechanic helped me sia before the day started...u can actually turn back the counter by using something that you can find in shops
Actually, got lots of tricks to counter these SWD in MID vehicles..if you are like me,doing nothing in the office and keep tinkering with the vehicles..go alot of ways to bypass the swd.. the only MID vehicle i cant counter the SWD with is the old Mercedes Benz tonner.. -
Don't let us catch you meddling with the SWD, its very easy to do and i dare say many drivers do it but better do a clean job. We often make a big fuss of vehicles with SWD being temperred and complains go to the OC or even CO if it happens too often. The easiest to speed with no trace is the new Man 5 ton since its controlled electronically and not using any SWD to control the speed limit but the ways of modifying the speed limit hopefully is something the drivers have not discovered... -
the speed limit is a hazard sometimes. speaking from experience, switching lanes in an expressway is damn hard.
like signal left--> left lane vehicles suddenly start speeding up to prevent u from overtaking
signal right--> right lane vehicles magically speed up together so that they wun be stuck behind a crawling 50km/h vehicle
sometimes gets to a point when driver has to thick-skinnedly switch lanes before his exit passes him at the risk of collision
funny true story: was sitting on the back of the 5 ton near the tailgate on BKE when the driver switched lanes. me and a friend watched in UTTER AMAZEMENT as the 8 or 9 cars(no joke!) who suddenly found themselves behind a slow 5 ton turned on their right signals altogether within a split second. i lol'ed!
