I doubt the 3SG had this in mind when he betrayed his men. If a commender cannot even commend the trust of his men, he is screwed up.Originally posted by Ponders:you must think long term...
3SG catch you all so that CSM thinks he has a good 3SG that he can rest assured the man don't bring contraband since the 3SG is vigilant.
Actually. 3SG will close one eye after this one.

My brother was serving in 35sce when there was one time the sergeant went into their bunk and told them " The CSM is going to spotcheck ur bunk tmr so if u guys haf any cam hp, mp3 and any contraband pls surrender to me now so i can keep for u all" The sergeant got car mah. So the guys gave him their stuff and put them in a bag.
The next day, the CSM came to check bunk as usual. Guess what the sergeant told the CSM " Sir, i caught them and he handled the CSM the bag"
After that, my brother told the CSM that he needed to listen mp3 on the journey to the camp as its long. And what a miracle, he returned him.
From this incident onwards, my brother do not ever trust the sergeant again.
That's true. No matter what, if you flout the rules, then you deserve the punishment.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Well, if you all understand the rationale of the rules, then the problem will be solved.
Why flout the rules in the first place?
Perhaps he should have safe-kept the items?Originally posted by Gordonator:this is not about rules. it's about trust.
