Bangkok is a land of the free and the land of smiles... a very tolerant society... many people from all over the world fly to Bangkok and register with UNHCR and Thailand let them stay until they are relocated...
That is why you can see many "strange" people in Bangkok... that is because they have a very tolerant society.... the general population is very tolerant of different type of people living among them.
