no battle has been won w/o the inf though. well, im from hq 9 div/inf but i would nv want to be an infantry trooper. but got to respect all kinds of vocations, each has their pros and cons.

As you said its 10 yrs ago so don't compare treatment from then and now. Many things and rules have changed and alot of things done 10 yrs ago are now illegal to be carried out. Anyway either hes a good 'actor' in here or else OCS should really reexamine how they choose and promote people to officers...
Even for a regular, that sort of attitute is still over enthu and someone who praise SAF all the time must have either been lying between his teeth or has already been severely brainwashed to the point of no return...
Officers only see the good parts of SAF and its still specs and man that really knows whats going on on the ground. Few NSF and junior officers i met know hardly even know wats happening on the ground or even things happening around them. -
