How do you feel on the day you need to book in?

i will feel 'kum phua sianz" ... then after that i will need to think of those kengsters got what stupid excuse to book in tml or days later ...

BOOk in confirm sian one leh,especially durning BMT,even my sect commd,PS and PC also sian leh,only those regulars very happy,especially my CSM and OC
In unit book in still alright lah because unit more free sometime can hiong off,leaves,MC and medical appointment more easy. -
I was okay with booking in, as it was only for duty purposes.

You mean Tekong BMT? I'd to report back to Changi Beach at either 2pm or 5pm, depending on the tide, in my time. There was no jetty/fastcraft back in those days, only RPLs which must dock on the beach itself.
For the same reason, Saturday bookout times were restricted to those hours too. As a result, some of my weekends totaled barely 21 hours (5pm to 2pm). Yet I considered myself lucky, cuz I stayed in the East. Imagine living on the other side of the island & needing an extra hour's commute each way!
Spent those breaks just catching up on sleep, anyway. The biggest anxiety, as I recall, was hoping my washed No.4's could dry on time to bring back to camp. BMT life was already all-consuming enough; I didn't adjust towards taking nights-off, inc. on Saturdays, until vocational-course time. -
It should normally be just admin time after bookin for you to prepare for training the next day. Its rare that theres any activities except pumping if your spec can find a valid or sometimes even invalid reason to give punishment.Originally posted by Freedom Fighter:YAY BOOK IN LE SONG BO?

Btw, BMT can bring uno cards etc in to help pass admin time right?

Unless your CSM gave special instructions if not you are allowed to bring them in. 3rd week bookin for bmt would most probably involve the "Everything in, Everything out" checking of field packs, prepared to get pumped... hahahahahahahah

aiya almost every sg males been thro the same shlt. Take it with a pinch of salt lor. Last time during bmt, i even kena extra...need to stay back for one whole week longer than others. Wow those days were memorable.
