Admin time is free time given to you in NS where you can do whatever you please. This is normally at night after dinner if theres no night training till lights out at 2230.Originally posted by y33bas:what is admin time? (paiseh havent go NS yet)
Yes there is. It isn't alot at the beginning but near POP there might even be days when the whole day is admin time if you pass IPPT.Originally posted by y33bas:cool..din noe that..BMT also got admin time mah?
Poly intake in Jun/Sept or Jul/Oct if you pass napfa.Originally posted by y33bas:yea lo..poly graduating in april..wondering when would my letter arrive. =((
before u know it, the battery already goes flat..Originally posted by LazerLordz:If you bring speakers, two things may happen.
1. You'll be loved.
2. It'll be stolen.
As for facial wash, the Gatsby wash isn't too bad. Get the one for oily skin, it works well for post-exercise cleanup back in bunk.
if you want to go in earlier, than u can volunteer yourself for early enlistment to save time.Originally posted by y33bas:yea lo..poly graduating in april..wondering when would my letter arrive. =((

For Recruits/Enlistees:
There are couple of items which are allowed in the SAF as a form of personal recreation during free time in Bunk or for other purposes.
[b]Entertainment
1- Magazines (R21/ Uncensored Pictures; Pornographic Materials Aren't Allowed; Maxim, NewMan, FHM are allowed Magazines)
2- Story Books; Novels; Comic
3- Games: Chess, Uno, Bingo, Reversi etc. (Poker Cards Not Allowed)
4- PSP*
5- DS*
6- MP3/4*
7- None Camera Phones (Common Knowledge)
8- Loud Speakers (That is if you willing to share music with the whole Bunk)
Toiletries
9- Additional own towel (it could be just for cleaning of face in the morning; you can choose to buy the SAF green colour $2.50 in E-mart or bring along your own)
10- Facial Wash
11- Powder (Sometimes, there's no time for you to shower thus there's a need for powder bath)
12- Shaving Gel/Cream
13- Handy Plasters
14- Ankle/Knee/Elbow Guards for people with previous history of injuries.
15- Shower Form/Gel (which can easily wash off Camo-Cream)
Rainbath shower gel washes off the camo cream quite easily followed by Dettol.
Facial Scrub might help only to a little, since I've tried it myself, Biore isn't that good for washing off Camo-cream
Food
15- Three/Four In One Drinks (Must be inside sachets)
16- Energy Drink Powder
17- Protein Powder
18- Food-Supplements
19- Sweets
Others:
20- Cigarettes (Max: 2 packet per person)
For Food, it varies depending in individual company;
If there's history of Rats in that level of your company, than it's advised not to bring food in; You wouldn't want to see your items all in a mess.
* - Must not have removable memory card inside
Note: Expensive Items might be easily lost inside SAF since there are people who can't afford to buy such items* thus if anybody want to bring it inside, exercise pre-caution and don't anyhow misplace it.

machiam like going chalet like that...Pork floss, man! ~lol~ My recce group used to pool money together for the stuff during field EXs in the old days. The other (cheap) end of the canned foods we used to buy were the braised peanuts, which cost only 40 cents a tin. That way, no matter how tired/no appetite were were & how bad the army food was, meals were still palpable with those two garnishes.
anyone bringing BBQ food?
