What if there is a war

What do you think will happen to singapore if there is a war?
I think this is what will happen
Stay out NSF: These NSF will simply awol
The rich NSF will probably buy a ticket to fly out of singapore together with their money and never ever come back
The poor NSF will probably find a place in singapore to hide(small as singapore maybe when there is a war and everything is so messy it can be hard to find you)
Stay in NSF: These poor chaps wll probably get confined in camp as the SAF will be afraid that they will awol. They will have no choice but to fight in the war but will probably awol during the war when they have the chance to do so.
Reservaist: The same as the stay out NSF. The rich reservaist will simply fly out of singapore to other countries while the poor reservaist will probably not be stupid enough to go back to camp to report. They will probably awol and find a place in singapore to hide.
Even if the reservaists go and fight in the war, they will probably be the 1st to get kill as they have forgotton how to use their M16 and probably due to busy working and never train regularly they don't even have the strength to carry a full battle order
Commando and other elite combat units: They will probably be the only 1 left to fight the war. But these people who like to deceive themselves with the saying "1 of us can kill a hundred soliders" will probably all die in foreign land.
They will be send to the enemy country to attack the enemy bases. When they reach there, it will be their 1st time in their life to see dead corpse, hands and legs being blown up by generades. They will be so scared by all these sightings that their balls will tremble and they don't even have the strength to carry their guns
They will than start crying "I miss my mummy. I miss my gf" and surrender, hoping that their enemy will give them a chance to go back to singapore alive
The rest of the combat units: The majority of the remaining combat units will have to stay in singapore to defend the country as AH LEE will be afraid that if he send all the soliders out than nobody defend singapore than his empire will be conquired.
1 bomb laned in singapore and it destroyed everything in it, killing and destroying all the soliders and everything in it including AH LEE assets.
Ending: Sad but the truth is singapore lose. They will than realise that 40 years of ns is just a waste of time -

I for one will fight...if we are over run..change to civi and continue playing guerrilla warfare lor. But must be smart, keep active military identifications such as dog tags on me, so if caught, you can be considered as a state-sanctioned combatant so you will be entitled the regular rights of soldiers in uniform during war. Besides, guerrilla warfare saps the hell outta the will of the enemy. Try catching a faceless,identity-less enemy like our American friends tried to in Vietnam. A guy may be a civilian in the day, but come night fall, an Ak47 totting VietCong.

I think Constance Bay doesn't know what he/she is talking about.
I just went back for an ICT overseas, and my unit's people talked about this, and everyone affirmed that they would fight, and everything that we trained for, we think operationally, preparing for "when it happens".
This doesn't just apply to my unit, many many more of us here would share similar stories.
The run-away theory has been over-cooked by a super small minority, whom we will probably gun them down at the battlefield when they turn their backs on us. -
War is not always about sending soldiers with a rifle to go upfront. Its about taking targets with our fighters, aerial attacks, artillery bombardments, and a whole lot of other things. The deployment of foot soldiers can keep them safe, so the NSFs have a proper place to hide.

Do the eiltes of our country go to courses that were conducted in the US where like a grp of soldiers go for a mock-uped "Gruellia" camp where they must fight for their lives and nt leak out anysecrets even though their mates were tortured ect.

Constancebay, you seem to think as though every NSF is a gutless coward who runs away from the fight. You are wrong. Although some might be seriously cowardly (I hope you won't be eventually), a great number of NSF will be willing to fight.
