  I suppose yes, since even PES C1 needs to pass IPPT.

  Pes BP is only a term for BMT. I was Pes BP when I was posted to Navy, and they upgrade my Pes to B because according to my officer "there's no such thing as Pes BP in the Navy". WTF?
  
  Anyway, just let u know lah, u do indeed have to pass ur IPPT every year.
