So..ill be posted on the 6th Battalion Singapore infantry regiment (6 SIR) at Maju Camp..So anyone knows about this camp? Cos I only familiar with Tekong

6SIR do POI mean Protection of Installations.
Protect key installations like Changi Airport, Jurong Island etc
Got see before 4 person per group wearing army uniform, dark sunglasses and carrying a rifle to partrol? That's them. -

how abt the environment there, the commandos ..isit a different culture than Tekong? Isit more strict in Maju camp compared to Tekong?

Infantry=1st one to chiong (and die) in times of war.
Maju Camp is near SIM, at Clementi Road.
From Clementi take bus 184,52 or 154.
All u need to know is that while u will learn the basic things that are also taught in Tekong, u will also learn other things that BMT in Tekong doesn't learn.
Don't ask what is it, u go in, u will know liao. -

very shiok one
Guard a few hrs sleep a few hours
No overseas training for us
You will deploy in changi airport doing sightseeing
or Jurong Island those Esso etc
ALL i can say spent most of the time eating
chit chat , watch tV
Two more ICT i will said bye bye liao

I'm suppose to be enlisted this december, I kena SCDF.
But I have to defer due to the fact that i'm still schooling for another year. So most probably on the next enlistment I kena army. -

actually i learnt my hokkien from all my army mates one haha
